Avoiding Your Family is not “Just Resentment”

It never is. If you area voiding the family that you were raised by, it’s because you don’t feel safe with them, like you should with real family. My testimony is still nightmare fuel over 60 years after some of these incidents.

Real family helps instead of kicking you when you’re down. And further, they treat you like you’re a good person, even behind your back.

One of my earliest memories is of my mother waking me up in the middle of the night by beating me with all of her strength. Not carefully targeted, controlled blows…
