A Simple Way to Improve Your Memory

I read the book “The Magic of a Mighty Memory” around 1982. The lesson I liked the most was the “AIR” formula. “AIR” stands for Attention, Interest, and Repetition. One of the things that I liked about it was that it was easy to remember.

Attention.

Paying close attention to a thing that you want to remember leaves a firm impression on your natural memory. You look at the size, shape, and color of a thing, and do what it takes to really see it. You can use the five senses, touch, smell, sight, sound, and taste.
